This month Tsutaya had a special deal where you can rent any non-new title for a week for just 100yen! I haven't watched many DVDs lately so I decided to rent a few films, and maybe I went a little bit over the topにひひあせる

So far I've watched..

This was a pretty decent movie. Leonardo DiCaprio does a good job and you can learn a lot about the politics/terrorism situation in the Middle East.

I'd seen the first one so I thought I should watch the sequel. The movie itself wasn't that good but I just liked the idea where people were paying to kill for sport.

This was great fun and it was good because there were no sad bits! If you liked 'The Incredibles', you'll love this!

This wasn't too bad but it was a little slow. Clive Owen, the main actor is British and his American English accent is pretty poor so it's a little annoying hearing him speak. His film 'Tomorrowland' was good though!

Maybe this was the best of the bunch, about a young mother who finds out that she has cancer and only has two months to live. She keeps this a secret from her family and friends a makes a list of ten things that would like to do before she dies. I really recommend this one! Great acting and music, and it was very touching and thought-provoking. I don't normally like sad or heavy movies but this one isn't depressing.

I watched this a long long time ago and all I remembered was that is was a
really nice film. Jack Nickelson is great and it's a very funny and touching movie that makes you think about your life.

This is a silly/funny adult romantic comedy. It's about a guy who has a hex put on him, in other words, somebody puts a (black) magic spell on him so that if a girl sleeps with him they will fall deeply in love with the NEXT guy they meet, they'll get married and live happily ever after. This rumour gets around and he becomes semi-famous and girls only see him as the answer to finding their Mr Right and just use him as a stepping stone/shortcut to their dream life. He then finds his dream girl but doesn't want his curse to ruin his chances with her. Check it out!!

..and I have these films left to watch..

This looked like a nice comedy for grown-ups and as there is a Japanese version of this movie too, with Japanese actors. Since they went to the trouble of making a Japanese version, this movie must be okay.

The DVD cover attracted me to this movie and I have absolutely no idea what it is about!!にひひ my spidey senses tell me that it is a okay movie, so I'll let you know how it goes!

Movies like this interest me as we get to see how our food gets from the farm all the way to our plates! it's not going to be a pretty sight but it will be educational I think!

I don't normally watch zombie movies, with the excepion of '28 Days Later' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0289043/ ) & '28 Weeks Later' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0463854/), however, my student (Yuki TV) loves zombie movies and that made me feel like watching this! The director is really famous so this should be a solid, entertaining movie, if you're into zombie movies that is!

[btw. Yuki TV, did you ever play the zombie game "Dead Rising"? If not, I think you may like it! maybe.. :P

Tonight I picked my mum up from Hakata Station and she didn't recognise me at first! I think it was because I was wearing jogging bottoms, a t-shirt and shades so maybe that's whyにひひあせる

She got here in the evening so all we did tonight was have dinner, talk and relax. Can you believe that she travelled for almost 24 hours to get here?! Tomorrow we'll just take it easy I guess ニコニコ

Oh yeahビックリマーク My mum brought lots of tasty things from England. Do you know what they are?
