今日はラボが終わったのが19時前。
19時30分からのレッスンですので歩いて直接教室に向かいました。
外は雨、、、傘を持っておらずずぶ濡れに。。。
しかもテキストブックも家に置いたままです。
こんな状態でレッスンが受けられるかと心配しましたが問題なく終了しました。
今回は、いつものA先生でしたので、テキストを忘れたことを伝えると、彼女がいつも行っているという、PCを使ったレッスンになりました（一応、上級者向けとのこと）。
Hyperbole and a halfというサイトで、教育的な表現や文法、スラングを、面白い絵とストーリーを使って学べるものです。

今日はPartyというタイトルのストーリーに挑戦しました。
音読してわからない表現を確認しながら進んでいきます。
途中に発音が難しいところは先生がピックアップして後で練習をします。
以下、学んだ単語、表現です。
rogue: someone who does not follow the norm
natural life 発音の練習
traumatizing
believing bee-lee-vingとゆっくり発音。
fixated
drilling (I was getting drilled by....) = being asked a lot of questions.

ストーリー自体もかなり楽しめます。このサイト、おすすめですよ。
発音だけでなく、語彙やスラングも勉強できるので、こういったレッスンもいいと思いました。
