先週2泊3日で沖縄に行ってきました。
I went to Okinawa last week for 2 nights & 3 days.
今回は、ずっとアメリカに住んでいる叔母が帰国していて、私の母に会いに行きたいということで、付き添いで行きました。
This time, I went with my aunt who lives in the US. She was visiting Japan and wanted to go see my mother in Okinawa.
ANAで羽田ー那覇往復、那覇市内のホテルに2泊、朝食付き1名1室、さらにレンタカー付で4万円ほどでした。
Our travel cost about 40,000 yen each including round-trip plane tickets with ANA, two nights in a spacious single room in a hotel in Naha with breakfast, and a rental car.
フライトもホテルもとても良かったのですが、悪かったのはお天気
Our flights and the hotel were very good, but the weather wasn't.
こちら関東は寒くて雨ですが、沖縄は暑くて雨
It has been cold and rainy in Kanto area, but it was hot and rainy in Okinawa.
しかも、電車のない沖縄は雨が降るとどこもかも渋滞するんですよね。
When it rains, there is a traffic jam everywhere in Okinawa because they have no trains.
レンタカーは借りず、タクシーで移動した方が良かったです。
I should have just used taxies instead of getting a rental car.
今回は観光目的ではなかったので、大した面白い話も写真もなくてすみません。
Since it was not a sightweeing trip, I'm sorry I have no interesting stories or pictures.
あ、1軒いいバーを見つけました。
Oh, I did find a nice bar.
ホテルのすぐそばにあった、「J's Bar 1950」さん。
It was close to our hotel and called "J's Bar 1950."
名前からして、てっきり、Jさんというアメリカ人の おじいさんが1950年からやってる古いバーだと思って入ったのですが。。。
From the name, I thought it was a bar owned by Mr. J from America since 1950, but ...
普通に沖縄の新垣さんという方が経営している、25周年を迎えたばかりのお店でした。
It was owned by Mr. Arakaki from Okinawa since about 25 years ago.
でも、居心地の良いお店で、ドリンク飲み放題（2時間？）1000円というお得なメニューがあり、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました
But it was a nice, cozy bar and they had "all you can drink for 1,000 yen"in their menu. I had a great time there.
また機会があれば是非おじゃましたいです
I would love to go back there when I get a chance.
