プチプラっていう言葉、最近すごく使われていますね。
Recently, we often hear the word"puchipura."
最初に聞いたときは、まったく意味がわかりませんでした。
When I first heard it, I had no idea what it meant.
プティートプライスが語源で、「安価」という意味なんですね。
It comes from the phrase "petite price," in other words, "low price."
昔は安い物は文字通り「安物」でしかなかったのが、最近の日本ときたら、「え、これ100円？」というような物が溢れていて、しかも高品質なんですよね。
In the past, low price things are only "cheap" literally. But now in Japan, there are so many things sold for 100 yen that are of high quality. It's truly unbelievable.
特に日本の100均グッズは世界的にも有名になっています。
Especially、 Japanese 100 yen store goods are becoming well known worldwide.
私んの娘たちも、いつもプチプラでお洒落を楽しんでいます。
My daughters are always enjoying "petite price" fashion.
で、私もちょこっとプチプラやってみました。
