今年の5月5日のこどもの日は、「菖蒲湯」をしてみました
On May 5th, it was Children’s Day in Japan, and I tried “Shobuyu” (taking a bath in bundles of Japanese iris are floating)
息子に「菖蒲湯」について説明したくて、やってみました…
I wanted to explain about “Shobuyu” to my son, so I tired…
しかし、主人は、お風呂を見るなり、
“What a hell is this
”
(↑「なんだこりゃ」という意味ですが、あまり綺麗な言葉ではないので、使うときは場を選びましょう！)
と言っていて、息子も
「気持ち悪い、いやだ～！」
と、BOYS(主人＆息子)からは不評だった
ので、おそらく、次回はないでしょう
However, my hubby said to me,
“What a hell is this?!”
as soon as he saw the Japanese iris floating in the bath, and my son was like
“Oh no, it’s discusting, I don’t like it!!”
So my BOYS (my hubby and my son) did not like it, so I don’t think I will ever try it again.
そして、かしわ餅は、皆が太らないようにミニミニサイズを買ってみました。
For KASHIWA MOCHI (oak-leaf-wrapped mochi), I purchased very small size so that we don’t get fat.
義理の両親からは、息子（10歳）にお祝いのメッセージ、ピカチュウのゲームとamiiboとキーホルダーを頂きました。
My parents-in-law gave our son (10 years old) kind message, Game of Pikachu, Pikachu amiibo and key holder.
主人（←永遠の子供
）と息子が生まれてきてくれたことに感謝した一日でした
It was a day for me to thank my hubby (←child forever) and my son to be born in this world.
新しい一週間が始まりましたね。
