Hida Ichinomiya Minashi Shrine (Hida Ichinomiya Minashi Jinja) is a Shinto shrine located in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. It is a Shikinaisha (an ancient shrine listed in the Engishiki) and the Ichinomiya (highest-ranked shrine) of the former Hida Province.

The shrine is situated in northern Gifu Prefecture, to the south of central Takayama City. It enshrines Mount Kuraiyama (elevation 1,529 meters), located to the southwest, as its sacred mountain. As the guardian and ancestral deity of Hida Province, the shrine was revered in ancient times by the Hida no Kuni no Miyatsuko (local ruling family of Hida).



Fifteen deities are enshrined here, collectively referred to as Minashi no Ōkami (“Great Deity of Minashi”).

The name Minashi no Ōkami is believed to originate from the local place name. While some traditions identify this deity as Mitoshi no Ōkami, others equate the shrine’s deity with the Hachiman god.
