先週土曜日は、
FBを通して
ある方から
アンティーク家具などを
いただける機会に恵まれました。
Last Saturday,
my husband and I encountered a person through one of my FB friends, and
we had a chance to get some of her grandfather's antique collections.
倉庫に
埃まみれになって
山積みされている
家具、仕事道具、雑貨・・・
。
山積みになった上を登ったりして
あまりの量に圧倒されましたが・・・
そのお祖父様の趣向が
私たちが憧れるものと同じで
びっくり
。
She showed us two rooms which were full of his collections with dust.
They were furniture, tools, and some other goods piled almost up to the ceiling.
Surprisingly, his taste was what we were longing for.
引越しが多く
素敵な家具に囲まれた生活に縁のなかった私ですが
、
拝見していると、
色々欲しくなってきました。
We often move so I thought that
we were not mean to live in a house with nice furniture.
But, looking at the collections made me want them.
だから、
持って帰りました。
So
we got some and brought them back to our nest.
