My name is tiramisu, and I'm into
indigo dyeing now.
今日は1月8日
明日は、大阪経由して横浜に戻るので
、
その荷造りを３つしました
。
１つは、自分自身のもの、
そして、大阪にいる娘たち
へ
そして最後は、主人のいる横浜へ・・・
。
It is January 8th.
I'm going back to Yokohama via Osaka by bus tomorrow,
so today I was quite busy with packing for myself.
I also packed two parcels
for my daughters in Osaka
and
my husband in Yokohama.
箱の中には、
畑の野菜、
大根
、さといも
、人参
、白菜
近所の方からいただいた
鳴門金時
、れんこん
その他いろいろ
・・・
重さは20キロ前後にも
なってしまいます
。
Each parcle was full of vegetables
harvested on my mother's farm
such as Chinese raddishes,
satoimo taros,
carrots,
and
Chinese cabbages.
Naruto sweet potatoes and ｌotas roots
are from her neighbors.
・・
One parcel weighed around 20 kilograms..
さて、
今年の藍染めの目標は・・・
9月の徳島現代クラフト展までに
藍染めの浴衣
を
絞って、
染めて
仕立て屋さんに仕立ててもらう事。
12メートルの生地ですが、
今できているのは、
ほんの1メートル分の絞りだけ・・・
先は長いです・・・
By the way,
one of my New Year's resolutions is to learn
more about indigo dyeing.
By the end of August I want to finish making a yukata.
Yukata fabric is about 36 centimeters wide and 12 meters long.
RIght now I'm stiching only 1 meter.
After stitching, I'll dye it indigo blue.
Then I'm going to have it tailored to make a yukata.
実は、
もっと大きな夢があります・・・
いつか自分の
藍染め工房を持つこと。
こちらは、
ゆっくりと始動するつもり・・・・
。
Honestly,
I have a big dream to have my own studio for indigo dyeing.
I'm going to start preparing for it poco a poco.
