とっても寒かったです～

でも、東北に住んでた時と比べると
水道の水が、あったか～い
。
食器洗いもちょっと楽～
It is December 12th today.
It was chilly outside.
When I lived in Tohoku area,
the tap water was very cold, but here in Yokohama
the water is not so cold.
So I don't mind washing dishes.
さて、
絞りをするときに、
生地にパターンを描くのですが、
その時に使うのが、
「青花ペン」
By the way,
a water erasable marking pen is used
for drawing on a fabric for shibori.
It is called "Ao bana pen" in Japanese, which means blue flower pen.
青色のペンで、
洗うと消えるんです。
でも、「青花」という名前が
とっても不思議
。

からきているそうです。
愛らしい小さな青い花
雑草に交じって、
色々なところで目にしますね～。
昔は、その花びらから青汁をとって
着物の染色の下絵につかったんですって。
なぜなら、水で消えてしまうから。

The origin of the name came from asiatic dayflower
which has lovely blue flowers.
They can be seen everywhere in Japan.
The blue dye from these flowers were used
