This concert was first held in Singapore in October 2015, and also in Seoul, Tokyo.
We appreciate and are very proud of having the concert again.
This time it was held at BGC arts center in 23rd and 24th March.
So many music, appear in the stories of Haruki Murakami's literature such as "Norwegian Wood", " 1Q84" etc., were played in this concert.
We 1966quartet worked with Hiroko Kokubu's special trio, a fantastic pianist April Merced-Misa, a great reader David Ezra, and a lot of staff from Japan and Philippines!
We were surprised more than 1,000 audiences, including standees, and a lot of media came to our concert.
It was the first visit to Manila for us and we were so happy to share fantastic time with the all people!
We are really moved when received a standing ovation after the program completed.

3月23日、24日と、フィリピン・マニラのBGCアーツセンターで行われた「村上春樹を聴く」コンサート、無事終演いたしました！！！
村上春樹の小説に登場する様々な楽曲を朗読とともにお楽しみいただくコンサート、思い返せば2015年10月にシンガポールで初演され、その後ソウル、東京でも行われ、それ以来となります。
当時は大きな達成感とともに、終わってしまった寂しさもありましたが、2年ちょっとの時間を経て、またこのようにマニラで再演されたことを本当に嬉しく思っています！！！

国府弘子さんのスペシャルトリオ、そしてマニラで活躍なさっているピアニストApril Merced-Misaさん、朗読はDaid Ezraさん、と、超豪華な出演者の皆様と共演させていただき、多くの刺激を受けました！
国府弘子さんスペシャルトリオの皆様、そしてスタッフの皆様と再会できたことが本当に嬉しく、そして現地アーティストやスタッフの皆様との出逢いにも心から感謝しています！

今回の旅で感じたのは、マニラの皆さんはとてもあたたかくて、そしてアツい！！ということ！！！
街でもコンサートでも、出逢う人みんなとてと素敵な笑顔で親切にして下さり、そしてコンサートではたくさんの歓声と拍手をいただき！
終演後のスタンディングオベーションには感動しました
立ち見が出るほどだったそうで、大反響のコンサートとなりました！！！
コンサートにお越しくださった皆様、共演させていただいた皆様、そしてこのコンサートの主催である国際交流基金の皆様、スタッフの皆様、本当に本当にありがとうございました！！！！！
コンサート以外での出来事も、また追ってレポートしますね！
