新北市の地下鉄永安市場駅近くに広々とした公園があります。観光名所ではないですが、過密都市で暮らす近隣住民にとっては尊い緑であると思います。
在永安市場捷運站附近有座寬闊的公園--- 八二三紀念公園。雖然算不上是個觀光景點，但對於居住在這附近的人們來說，這個公園必定是個宜人的都市綠洲。
There is a big park near MRT Yong’an Market Station in New Taipei City. It’s not exactly a tourist attraction, but it must be a precious green oasis for people living in this densely populated city.
国立台湾図書館もここにあります。建物は平成16年に新築しているものの、大正3年からの歴史を持つ台湾最大の図書館です。
國立台灣圖書館也位在公園內，嶄新的場館在2004年落成開放，是目前台灣空間規模最大的國立圖書館。雖然看起來新穎，但這個圖書館的前身可是始自日治時期的「臺灣總督府圖書館」，至今已經有上百年的歷史囉。
National Taiwan Library is also located here. Despite the new building that opened in 2004, it’s the largest library in Taiwan with a history dating back to 1914.
子供や犬から年齢層高めの大人まで遊べる設備も充実しています。軽く散策するとリスもいました。
在這個遼闊的環境裡，有適合一家老少，甚至是寵物的休閒空間。漫步在公園內時剛好看到一隻不怕生的松鼠。
There are plenty of facilities/equipment that keep kids, dogs and adults entertained. While strolling there, I happened to spot a squirrel.

秋はモクゲンジ属の固有種、台湾欒樹が木々を赤く飾っています（10月24日訪問）。

Taiwanese rain trees (Koelreuteria elegans) bear red fruit in the autumn (visited on 24 October).
