Pink Floyd － Building The Wall (Roaring Mouse)

　2001年に Roaring Mouseレーベルからリリースされた「Building The Wall (Roaring Mouse 70040)」です．
　6月8日に池袋で開催されていた「「CD＆レコード・フェア」に参戦した際に，ファー イースト レコード（：Far East Records）さんところで見つけて，所有していなかった関係もあり購入しました．

　CDジャケットに記載されている内容によると，1978年からロジャー・ウォーターズが作曲．作詞し，自分でベース，ギター，ドラム，機器等を使いつつ，自宅録音したオフィシャル「The Wall (ザ・ウォール)」の原型デモとなっていますが，デイブ・ギルモアのボーカル，ギター等も入っており，内容的には Ayamaniレーベルからリリースされた「Wall In Progress 1978 - 1979 (AYANAMI-045)」（過去ブログ「Wall In Progress 1978 - 1979」参照）と同一内容で，英国のブリタニア・ロウ·スタジオ（1978年9月～12月，1979年末）と，フランスのスーパー・ベア・スタジオ（1979年4月～8月）で収録されたものです．
　未だ「The Wall (ザ・ウォール)」の完成途上にある音源で，一部の曲では詩やアレンジが異なったり，"Comfortably Numb" と "Hey You" のように曲順が異なったり，オフィシャルには収録されませんでしたが，映画のサウンドトラックとツアーでは演奏される "What Shall We Do Now ?" が収録されていたりと，これはこれで楽しめます．
