Ron Villone walked into the Yankees’ clubhouse about an hour ago and was quickly ushered into Manager Joe Torre’s office and was told that he was being added to the roster for the American League divisional series. Since Major League Baseball added a new rule this season which allows teams to replace injured players, Villone can take the place of Roger Clemens who has a strained left hamstring.
