週末の土曜日、浦安は薄曇りの一日でした。
海の近くのパームテラス・ホテルには全く人影が無くショベルカーが行き来してました。
今日は久し振りにわんこのマリンと遠出の散歩。
ちょっといつもと違うコースを１時間ぐらい歩いてみました。
この鮮やかな色合いの八重咲きの桜はなんて言う名前なんでしょうか？
ここは東京ディズニーリゾートの外国人スタッフの寮「イーヴィレッジ」。
地震の後しばらくはTDRが閉園していた事もあってあちこちで彼らの姿を見かけたのですが、放射性物質の流出で本国から退去命令が出たためか今は全く無人の状態です。
統一地方選の千葉県議選が昨日(4/1)告示されましたが、浦安市長は震災の復旧工事で市職員が選挙事務を行えない事と投票所の安全性が確保出来ない事を理由に投票事務が出来ない旨を表明しました。
そのため浦安市では、本来であれば昨日からスタートしているはずの立候補者のポスターを掲示する看板はもちろん選挙活動も全くありません。
復興の政治的空白を作る事になってしまうのは問題かもしれませんが、今の市の状況を考えると個人的には市長の判断は間違っていないと思います。

ジェイムズ・テイラーが同年にカヴァーして大ヒットさせた名曲ですね。
