Sightseeing in Hull
Yesterday was so much fun!
I've been to two museums and the ice-skating arena (only skated for 5 mins,it was my first try.)
My friends and I went to the Hull Ice-skating Arena first.
There was so many people>>especially teenagers and kids......and most of them were very good at ice-skating.
Due to that reason I lost my gut to skate longer coz i don't wanna fall in front of public,as It was my first time and I am not good at controlling my balance on the ice.
Stayed there for approximately 2 hours.
Then we headed to the Hands-on Museum.
On the way to it,we passed through Hull Docks.
I saw two adorable doggies and they were so playful!
From the photos the weather seemed so sunny but actually it was so cold due to the strong cold wind.
And we met the Holy Trinity Church.....
Due to the tight schedule....we didn't have enough time to have a look inside.
But I will visit and enter it someday since it's free to enter!
Later on we were at the Hands-on museum which has a mummy aged 2600 year-old.
But no photo is allowed in order to preserve it.
So the rest are the antiques baby carts, clothes, decoration of each rooms and so on.
It located on the same street with Holy Trinity Church.
The above are vintage baby carts + cradles with the descriptions at Hands-on Museum.
Living Room
Lovely window.
Sample of the old-days classroom.
Cleaning place.
Potties for defecate.
Buckets to rinse clothes??
I guess this is for smoothing the clothes.
Tap.
The sign on the entrance to the cleaning room.
Last but not least is the Streetlife Museum......it shows the transformation of public transports and vehicles.
Gosh! This was BMW back in 1962 with the door from the front!
Tramp
Morris Eight 1939.
A range of vehicles and vintage plane.
An image of how they lift the goods on pier.
An enormous boat outside where an adorable boy came to
me and said excitedly 'There is a boat outside!'
Carriage of aristocrat at horse-racing.
Vintage carriage of peer.
Garden outside the Streetlife Museum.
That's the wrapped!
It was a day that I have enjoyed so much.
