静さんのピアノ、パクさんのサックス、みぎわさんのギターを合わせて、三人での演奏はとても素敵でした。
Shizu on the piano, GwangSig Park on the sax, and Migiwa on the guitar...They sounded really great together.
聞いている人たちの表情も良かったですね。
I also love the faces of the people in the audience listening.

"Happy Birthday dear Kazuko-san!! Happy Birthday to you!!" A special request came in for this song today.
誕生日の人は嬉しそうですね。。。
I have to say...the "birthday girl" looks happy too!!
コーヒーとデザート・タイム
Near the end of the concert we passed out coffee and dessert. (Can you find my favorite husband??)

ザットリンダの好きな長男の作品を会館で展示しました。
We also displayed my favorite oldest son's artwork at the community center today.
石巻市新館にある畑から掘り出した携帯部品で作られた『再生の水深屏風』ですが、その話と写真は下のリンクへどうぞ、クリックしてみてください。ずいぶん有名になった畑ですね。

The screen, titled "Regeneration Daffodil," is made from cell phone parts which were dug out of a rather famous field in the Shintate area of Ishinomaki. The story of the field, as well as photos of the clean up process and the process of making the screen, can be seen by clicking on the links above.
ミュジシャンたちの笑顔は素晴らしいですね。。。一緒に立っているもう一人の方は、震災後一年以上毎週石巻でボランティアをしてくださった静さんのお父さんです。今回は、娘さんのコンサートに参加出来てとても喜んでいたようです。

one extra person who is very special. We were so happy to have Shizu's father with us today!!He volunteered in Ishinomaki every week for over a year, and I know he was happy to be back (!!) and attend his daughter's concert.続く！！
