フランス パリツアーのご報告。長いです。
ご報告が遅くなりましたがフランスから無事に帰国しております。
サロメの唇は実は去年も自分達でヨーロッパツアーを検討していましたがうまくいかず実行できませんでした。
そんな中、昨年末Sister Paulより今回のPaint your teethのお誘いがありご一緒させていただく事になりました。
Sister Paulは僕が以前から尊敬している音楽家であり表現者で、Sister Paulからサロメを誘ってもらえたという事がまずすごく嬉しかったです。
フランスではEmilieさんの家で、Sister Paul、Atomicfarm、The Illls、Irisさん、ひるりさん、そして今回僕らをサポートしてくれたジルとぼんきちさんで共同生活。
こんな大人数で共同生活した事はなかったですが、みんな気遣い、譲り合いできる人ばかりでストレスなく、楽しくみんなで暮らせました。
The Illls、Irisさん、ひるりさん、ジル、ぼんきちさんとも友達になれたし、以前から付き合いのあるSister Paul、Atomicfarmともさらに仲良くなれました。
ライブは2日に一回くらいのペースで６回できました。
ライブの機材はGaelさんが毎日運んでくれて、みんなで車から会場に機材を運んでセッティングして行いました。学生の頃を思い出しました。
サロメの唇は今回は、ボーカル、ベース、フルートの３人編成で、ドラムとギターはオケを使ったので演奏に困る事もなく、全ステージ思いっきり演奏できました。
フランスのみなさんも興味深く見てくれて、ライブ後もCDやレコードを買ってくれて話しかけてくれました。
正直もっとお客さん少ないのかなと思っていましたが、イベントも3年目という事で、日本に興味のある人やアーティストの方もたくさん見に来てくれてたくさんの方に自分達の音楽を聴いてもらえました。
中にはあらかじめYouTubeやSpotifyでサロメの曲をチェックしてくれてた方々も！！
現在パリに済む友人達も見に来てくれたり、なんと今回日本からも６人サロメのパリツアーに合わせてフランスまで来てくれました！みんなすごい！！
日本でやっていても海外の人に見てもらえる事や聞いてもらえる機会はあるけど、自分達が外国に行ってその地の人達の前で演奏して受け入れてもらえたのはとてもいい経験になったし、今後も海外でどんどんやっていかないと！と思いました。
その一歩を踏み出す機会をくださったSister Paulのお二人、一緒に過ごしてくれた共演者、見てくれたパリのみなさんそして現地で僕らをサポートしてくれたPYTパリチームのみなさんに心から感謝しています。
毎日僕たちの面倒を見てくれたGilles、毎日睡眠時間を削ってライブの機材を運んでくれたGaelさん、素敵で快適なお家を提供してくれたEmilieさん、イベント会場をブッキングしてくれたSylvainさん、毎日写真を撮ってくれたFredericさん、毎日ライブに来てくれたひょうきん者のGwen、優しい笑顔のOlivierさん、本当にありがとうございました！
また、今回演るだけでなく、フランスのインプロバンドの演奏やエミリーさんの家でみんなでやったセッションでも今までの自分になかった要素を発見できて、音楽的にも得るものがありました。詳細は内緒です。
いろんな国でライブしたいけど、パリにもまた必ずライブしに行きます！
I've returned to Japan from France.
Salome no Kuchibiru were actually considering a Europe tour by ourselves last year, but we did'nt go well.
Meanwhile, the end of last year we received an invitation from Sister Paul about the event "Paint your teeth".
Sister Paul is a musician and an artist I've respected from before and I was very glad that Sister Paul invited Salome.
In France, we lived in Emilie's House, with Sister Paul, Atomicfarm, The Illls, Iris, Hiruri, and Jill and Bonkichi who supported us this time together.
This is first time for me to live in such a large number of people in the house, but I was able to live with fun without stress.
I was able to make friends with The Illls, Iris, Hiruri, Jill and Bonkichi, and I could make friendship with Sister Paul, Atomicfarm,more and more.
I got a live performance 6 times at about once every 2 days.
Gael carried the live equipment everyday and everyone carried the equipment from the car to the venue and set it up. I remembered when I was a student.
Salome no Kuchibiru were composed of three people, vocals, bass and flute this time, drums and guitars used backing tracks, so we could play all the stages without trouble.
Everyone in France also saw interestingly and even after live they bought CDs and records and spoke to us.

Friends who live in Paris now also come to see us, and this time from Japan 6 people came to France to see Salome's Paris tour! Everyone is amazing! !
We are sincerely thankful to Sister Paul, members who stayed with us, the people in Paris who took a look for our shows, and the PYT Paris team who supported us.
Gilles who took care of us everyday, Gael who carried live equipments every day , Emilie who provided a nice and comfortable home, Sylvain who booked the event venue , Frederic who took a picture everyday, Gwen who came gigs every day, Olivier of a gentle smile, Thank you very much!
Also, in addition to performing this time, I also found something musically that I could discover elements I did not have in my past even in the performance of the French Improvisation band or the session everyone did at Emily 's house. The details are a secret 🙂
I want to play in Paris next year too!
