差根付「飴」の件6。/Sbj. Sashi-netsuke "Candy" #6.
鹿正洞で進行中の、
差根付「飴」プロジェクト。
前回からの続き。
The sashi-netsuke "Candy" project, is going on at the Rokusho-dou.
A continuation from the last time.
「目玉作り」。
"Eyeball making".
まずは本体に「座グリ」を入れる。
Firstly, prepare an eye socket.
左眼は隠れてる意匠なので、
右目側だけ彫る。
This time the left eye is hidden,
so just the right side.
白い牛角で楊枝を拵える。
Make a stick with cow horn.
断面形状は本体の「座グリ」に合わせて。
Its cross section is fit for the eye socket.
端面にRを掛けて研磨。
Polish the end of piece.
どん～より♪
What a dull eye!
先端をカット。
Cut the end of piece.
これで目玉自体は完成。
This way the eyeball itsself is completed.
本体に仮組み。
Assemble on the main body, as test.
ん！ 良い感じ♪
Oh! seems not bad!!!
今回は幽霊らしく、
生気の無い淀んだ目にしたかった。
そこで黒目を、牛角のマーブルで表現した次第。
This time I wanted to have a stagnant lifeless eye,
so used the marble texture of cow horn to express the iris.
次は「面張り」。
The next stage is "surface tensioning".
