青い縞の土台に藍染の刺繍布。
浪漫屋さんの内職でこの二つの布をいただきました。
この刺繍布は厚手ですが滑らかです。
ようちゃんのほっぺのように。
浪漫屋さんが染めました。
土台布も刺繍布もそのどちらもとても良い個性を持っています。
しかし同系の青。
図案をいかに引き立たせるか。
そのために太い刺し子糸でかがりました。
60/28という、木綿の生成です。
60番手の細い糸を28本縒り合わせたものです。
こんな糸はほかの店ではみたことがありません。
たくさんの糸で縒っているので、縫うと糸が空気を含んでふっくらと仕上がります。
縫い目が丸くなり、真珠のビーズでエジングワークしたように見えます。
図案は有名な物の一部を取り出しました。
アイヌの神様であるフクロウが月の光を浴びて獲物に飛びかかる顔を想像しました。
Blue striped foundation cloth and Japan blue embroidery cloth.
Two clothes were given as a work at home by Roman-ya.
This embroidery cloth is thick and smooth.
Like Yochan's cheek.
Roman-ya dyed this.
The foundation cloth, the embroidery cloth, and its both have very good individuality.
However these are much the same blue.
How I must set this design off?
So I edged by thick SASHIKO thread.
It is 60/28 cotton ecru.
28 thin threads(No.60) are twisted.
I have never seen such a thread at the other shop.
Since the thread is twisted with much fibers, when I sew, the thread is puffily finished holding air.
Stitch becomes round and seems to be worked edging work with pearl beads.
I picked a piece of a famous design.
I imagined the face that the owl which is Ainu's God is flying at its game in the moonlight.
