Spring break is like the season
of Doraemon. :)
(Hope I'm not the only one...)
春休みって
ドラえもん
の季節って感じがします
（私だけ？？？）
At the end of last month, we
went to see this year's movie too.
先月末になりますが...
今年も観てきました、
映画ドラえもん
『のび太と奇跡の島』
(Nobita and the Island of Miracles)
But I fell asleep during
the movie this time...
でもでも、
今年は
寝てしまった～～～
Last year's was the remake
of one of the past popular
movies called "Nobita and
the Iron Soldiers", and I was
impressed how great they
made it.
昨年は、過去の人気作品
『のび太と鉄人兵団』のリメイクで、
こんなにも良くできてすごい
って思ったけれど
But now that Fujiko F. Fujio has
passed away, I guess it's difficult
to make a completely original movie.
やっぱり
藤子Ｆ不二雄先生亡き今は
完全オリジナル版は
厳しいのかもしれない
と思ったり
Well, because I was also disappointed
about the original movie they did a
few years ago.
何年か前の
オリジナル作品のときも
大変そうだな～って思ったのを
思い出しました
My husband said, when Fujiko Fujio
made them, the movie had themes
like the importance of family,
importance of friendship, and
courage, without having the
characters say obvious lines, but
instead, gradually letting children
feel and learn as they get drawn
into the story.
一緒に観ただんなさんが言うには、
藤子先生は
「家族が大事」とか
「友情が大事」とか
「勇気を持とうよ」・・・
みたいなテーマを、
けっして言葉で簡単に
キャラクターに言わせてしまうことなく、
ストーリーのおもしろさに
ひきこまれていく中で
じわじわと深く、子どもたちの
心の中に浸透させていけてたんじゃないかって
That's so true
When a different person writes
the story, the characters' lines
are so cheesy and obvious,
trying to "educate" children,
so it sounds fake and unnatural.
藤子先生の書いたお話でないときは、
わりと根拠なく
キャラクターが
教育的なことを言ってしまうから
なんか違和感を感じてしまいます
Well, even so, I still like Doraemon.
あ、
それでもやっぱり
ドラえもんは好きなんだけど
Whenever I see children with
their family at the movie theater,
I feel so warm inside.
それに、映画館で
子ども連れの親子を見ると
とっても癒されます～
