最近よくPandora.comというインターネットラジオで音楽を聴いています。
好きな曲を入力すると、その曲と同じようなテイストの曲を流してくれます。曲について「好き」・「嫌い」をフィードバックをすると、それに合わせて調整もしてくれます。
何回か流れてくる曲に"Love is not a fight"という歌がありました。Warren Barfieldというアーティストです。

タイトルの一部でもあるサビの部分の歌詞は
"Love is not a fight, but it's worth fighting for"
（愛は闘いではない、でも闘う価値のあるものだ）
アメリカには「クリスチャン・ミュージック」というジャンルがあるんですね。
この曲も間違いなくクリスチャンの歌です。また曲自体も"Fireproof"という、これまたクリスチャン映画(?)で使われた曲です。
図書館で見つけたので、入手したら見てみることにします。
参考までに歌の歌詞を添付します。
冒頭に「愛情とは、好きなときに来たり去ったりする場所ではない。それは一度入ったら二度と出て行かないとコミットする家だ。だから一度入ったら、ドアを閉めて、鍵は捨ててしまうように」という意味の一節があります。
つまり、「出口なし」！
なにがあっても踏み留まって頑張るぞ、という覚悟を「コミットメント」と言うのですね。
クリスチャンが多いはずのこの国で離婚率がこれだけ高い現状。映画そのものの出来はともかく「カトリック教徒は見るべき映画」という批評もあったようです。
