みなさま、こんにちは。
「まつもと子ども留学」の留学事業について、知っていただく、「まつもと子ども留学 保養と現地見学ツアー」をこの夏に実施いたしました。
現地の小学校・中学校・こども寮の見学のほか、
松本・安曇野の豊かな自然の中でのリフレッシュも兼ねたプログラムです。
幼児から小学４年生の子どもたち、
保護者のお母さん・お父さん・おばあちゃんが参加されました。
京都や新潟へ避難中というご家族、
春に母子避難を終えて福島で暮らすというご家族もありました。
震災後、原発事故後、住み慣れた土地を離れ、
友人、自然、文化、言葉、景色を失って、
離れ離れに暮らす子どもたち、大人たち、様々な家族のカタチがあります。
避難できないご家族、避難を終えて戻られたご家族もありますが、子どもたちを守りたいという思いは同じだとおもいます。
わたしたち「まつもと子ども留学基金」が取り組む「留学」という事業は、ご家族にとって、高いハードルがいくつも並ぶものかもしれません。
ですが、ひとつの選択肢として、事業をひきつづき継続してまいります。
今後ともよろしくお願いいたします。
以下、一部ですがツアーの様子をご紹介させていただきます。
あずみの公園では、「あっち行ってもいい？」、「あれに登りたい！」と子どもたちも広い空間に大はしゃぎ、元気に走り回っていました。
地球宿での晩御飯。美味しく愉しくみんなでいただけました。
古民家ゲストハウスに子どもたちも興味深いようであちらこちら探検していました。

ご案内いただいた先生方ありがとうございました。
小学校では校長先生が丁寧にご案内していただきました。
たくさんの本、たくさんの楽器に、子どもたちもとても喜んでいました。

今回もボランティアの方々に助けていただきました。感謝です。子どもたちもお姉さんたちが一生懸命遊んでくれるので嬉しそうでした。
「子どもたちに笑顔を」と三重県伊勢市からカミシバラーのミキさんが来てくれました。
シュールでアバンギャルドな手作り紙芝居に子どもたちもお母さんやお父さんも、いっぱい笑っていました。

Matsumoto Children’s Fund Health Recuperation/Site Tour

Hello, everyone.
This summer, so that people could learn about what we do here, we held a ‘Matsumoto Children’s Fund Health Recuperation and Site Tour’.

This program was created not only so that people could tour the local elementary school, middle school, and dormitory, but also so that they could refresh themselves in the vibrant nature of Matsumoto and Azumino.

Children aged from infancy to the fourth year of elementary school participated, along with their parents and grandparents.

There were families who evacuated to Kyoto and Niigata, and also a mother and child who moved back to their home in Fukushima this spring.

The families came in many forms, children and adults who had left the place they had gotten used to living in and scattered, parting with friends, nature, culture, language, and scenery after the earthquake and the nuclear disaster.

There were also families who could not evacuate or who were made to return after they had evacuated, but I felt that the desire of all the families to protect their children was equally strong.

These families may see the ‘dorm study’ that we at the Matsumoto Children's Fund strive to provide as having numerous high hurdles. However, we will continue this project as a single option, and humbly ask for continued support from here on out.

I will show some of what happened during the tour in the space below.

At Azumino Park, the children ran around full of energy in the vast space, saying things like “Can I go over there?” and “I want to climb that!” in high spirits.

We had a delicious and enjoyable dinner with everyone at Chikyuu Yado. The children seemed to find the old guest house fascinating, and explored every nook and cranny.

This picture is from the tour of the middle school. It was a very clean and lovely school. We are thankful to the teachers who were kind enough to show us around.

At the elementary school, the principal courteously showed us around. The children were very happy with the many books and instruments.

Some volunteers helped out again this time, and we are grateful to them. The children and the older girls played together to their heart’s content, and they looked very happy.

Miki-san, a picture storybook performer, came from Ise in Mie Prefecture to make the children smile. Both the children and the parents laughed along with his surreal, avant-garde handmade drawings. Thank you very much, Miki-san.
