Quarkはプジョーが製造し２００４年のパリ・モーターショーで最初に展示された４輪バイクのコンセプトです。
The Quark is a concept car from Peugeot, rather like a four wheeled motorcycle, which was first displyed at the 2004 Paris Motor Show
水素燃料電池で動く電気モーターが４輪全てに４つ付いています。
It utilises hydrogen fuell cells and has an electric motor on each of the four wheels.
４つのモーター全て合わせたパワーは３０ＫW、又は４０馬力
All four motors combined give the Quark 30kw or 40hp.
一度の充電で約１３０Ｋｍ走行可能です。
It can drive about 81 mile befor it requires refueling.
最高速は１１０ｋｍで、５０ｋｍには６．５秒で達します。
Its top speed is 68 mph. It can accelerate to 31mph in 6.5 seconds.
Quarkは生産される事は有りませんでした。
The Quark didl not go into production.
プジョーにこんな乗り物を作ってほしいと期待する要素がこの車にはありますね。特に完璧な燃料電池が開発された時には。
It does give a glimpse of what we might expect from Peugeot in the future however, especially when the fuel cell technology powering the vehicle has been perfect.
