As a young executive was leaving the office late one evening,
ある日の晩遅く、若い重役がオフィスを去ろうとしていた時
he found the CEO standing in front of a shredder with a piece of paperin his hand.
CEOが一枚の紙を持ちシュレッダーの前に立っているのを見かけた。
The CEO said to him, "This is very confidential and important, andmy secretary has just left.
CEOが彼に言った、「この書類はね、極秘でとても重要なんだよ、私の秘書が帰ってしまってな。
Will you make this machine work?"
君は、この機械を操作できるかね？」
"Of course," said the young executive.
「勿論ですとも」と若い重役は言った。
He turned on the machine and inserted the paper.
彼は、機械のスイッチを押し、紙を入れた。
"Good, good!" said the CEO, and the paper disappeared insidethe machine.
「よし、よし！」とCEOが言った。 そして、紙は機械の中へ消えて行った。
"I just need one copy immediately."
「私はね、すぐにコピーが一枚必要なんだよ」
