カマス理論という有名な実験があります。
カマスをたくさん水槽に入れ、小魚をたくさん水槽に入れ、間にガラスの板を入れます。
すると最初はガラスの板に気づかずに、カマスがスピードあげて小魚を狙いに行く。
ガラス板にぶつかる。
これを繰り返すうちに、どのカマスも小魚を狙わなくなります。
ここでガラス板を取り除く。
でもカマスは誰も小魚を狙わない。
餓死までしてしまう。
要するに諦めちゃったわけです、挑戦を。
このカマス群に何をやってももう挑戦しない。
ただ一つ、新しい生きのいいカマスを入れる方法だけが効きます。
新しいカマスは、小魚を勢いよく取りに行き、見事にゲットする。
当たり前です。
それを見て、やる気を失ったカマス達が次々と蘇る。
だそうです。
大ボスの外人がこの話を聞いて、
生きのいいカマスこそがketsukoさんだ
と言うのです。
確かにそうかも。
「だめだ、できない、やめとけ」とみんなに言われても、「大丈夫だ」と言って突き進むことがときどきあります。
でも実際にはガラス板が完全に外れていなくて、ほんの少しの隙間しかないところを通ろうとするから、大変なんだよね。
けど絶対にあきらめずにやってると、応援するカマスも出てくる。
ガラス板を、取り除こうとする人も出てくる。
最後はうるせーと突破する。笑
日々、仕事の中で、誰もやらないだろうなー、でもやった方がいいなーということをあえて投げかけるのも、よくやる。
正直うざいけど、なんとなく私はこういうのをやらなきゃと思ってる。
男性が多いから余計に陥りがちな誰もやらないを掘り起こさないとと昔から思ってる。
ってな感じ。
I heard a famous experiment about the theory of barracudas.
Many barracudas were put into a water tank and many small fishes were also put into it.
A glass plate was put between the barracudas and the small fishes.
At first the barracudas jumped to the small fishes not being aware of the glass plate.
All of them hit the glass and felt painfull repeatedly.
Finally none of them didn’t aim at the small fishes.
After that the glass plate was removed.
None of the barracudas were not interested in the small fishes.
They starved to death.
That was they gave up challenging totally.
Everything was not effective for the barracudas except one thing.
It was putting a new barracuda into the water tank.
It dived to the small fishes without any hesitations.
It was sure.
The other barracudas started swimming one after another seeing it.
That’s it.
My big boss told me that I am a new barracuda.
I think it is true.
I sometimes move forward even when the people around me told me to stop because of impossibility.
Actually a glass plate is not removed totally so that it is tough for me to try to go through a narrow path.
If I never give up, some barracudas begin to encourage me.
Some try to remove the glass plate.
Finally I can go.
I often identify problems which nobody takes an action to but should be solved.
I think I have to do so.
Especially I live in men-governed world.
It is my mission.
