めんどくさ～い。ってよく耳にします！そして「面倒くさいは英語でなんて言うの？」とよく聞かれます
。実はぴったしの言葉がないんですよね。
しかし近い意味を持つ表現がいくつかあるので紹介します。
●「それはすごく面倒くさい」というニュアンスがある表現：
・It's so troublesome.
・It's too much trouble.
・It's so bothersome.
・It's such a pain in the ass.
・It's a pain in the neck.
しかし、私が個人的によく使うのが「hassle」です。
●hassleの意味:
hassleは「言い合い」や「ケンカ」という意味もありますが、その他にも以下のような意味があります。
・irritating inconvenience. イライラさせるような不便・迷惑

例：Traveling can be a hassle.
旅をするってことはめんどくさいことでもある。
・an annoying or troublesome concern.
例：人を悩ますような面倒な懸念
(Merriam-Webster hassle)
例：All this paperwork is a hassle!
●hassleの使い方：
・It's such a hassle!
（それは）すごくめんどくさいんだよ！
・～ is such a hassle!
Cooking is such a hassle when you're living alone.
一人暮らししていると自炊はほんとに大変（めんどくさい）。
・What a hassle!
なんてめんどくさい！
・It's too much of a hassle!
（それは）めんどくさすぎるんだよね！
例：It's too much of a hassle to pick you up before the party.
パーティーに行く前に君を迎えに行くのはめんどくさ過ぎるんだよ。（大変なんだよ）
●「めんどくさいやつだな～」「うざいやつだなー」
と人が「面倒くさい、うざい」と言いたい時は
・You're so annoying!
でいいと思います。
●「やる気が出ない」というニュアンスで言いたい時は
・I don't feel like ～ing
例えば：
I don't feel like doing anything today. I feel so lazy.
今日何もする気にならないんだよね～。ダル～い。
I don't feel like going to work today. I'm so tired.
今日出社したくなーい。疲れた～。
I don't feel like going out tonight. Let's order some pizza and watch a movie.
今夜でかける気がしないよ。ピザでも頼んで、映画でも見ようぜ。
・I don't feel up to ～ing
例えば：
I don't feel up to jogging today. I feel so lazy.
今日ジョギングする気になれない。ダルーい。
●例えばこういう組み合わせもできます：
You want to go snowboarding today!?
今日スノボ行きたいの！？
It's too much of a hassle to drive all the way up there, rent the gear, snowboard for a couple of hours and drive all the way back.
あそこまで運転して、ギアをレンタルして、数時間スノボしてまた運転して帰ってくるのはめんどくさいよ。
Sorry. I don't feel up to it today.
ごめんね。今日はその気になれないな。
I know! Let's go rent a couple of movies, grab some burgers and veg out all day!
分かった！いくつか映画でも借りて、ハンバーガーでも買って、一日中何もしないでダラダラしようぜい♪
