This is a device for taking kaleidoscope-photos.

In a normal kaleidoscope, we will observe objects in the kaleidoscope.

However, with this device, various subjects can be patterned by attaching it to the camera.

2

I used 3 mirrors with this kaleidoscope to take this photo.

3

This is a Japanese flower.

I took this picture outdoors.

The part that looks blue is the sky.

4

The next picture is flower petals taken in the room.

The image is distorted because I shot it using a fisheye lens.

I put flower petals on the lightbox and shot.

5

I used 2-mirror systems in the next picture.

If you use two mirrors, the pattern will look like a pizza pattern.

However, if you use three mirrors, the pattern will spread more.

You can also create kaleidoscope-like patterns in Photoshop.

However, in the case of a real kaleidoscope, the pattern shifts slightly and the brightness changes.

This is the fun of using analog photography.

6

This is a device with a paper tube attached to the tip of the lens.

I put brown paper inside the tube.

When taking pictures with this device, the inside of the tube can also be visible.

7

Picture 7 is Plum, Plum is called Ume in Japan.

8

8 is Persian speedwell.

9

9 is Sakura.

This picture is like an image peeking out from a circular window.

I was inspired by a circular window in Kyoto.
