昨日日本時間でアカデミー賞が発表されましたが、日本映画も快挙で以前松竹で試写会を行った映画「おくりびと」が滝田洋二郎監督の『おくりびと』が外国語映画賞でオスカーでとりました。

この映画は松竹の試写室でみましたが、当時私は自分の父がなくなり同じように納棺師の技が一種の芸術のようにすごいことをはじめてみたときでした。人をひっくり返さないで見ている人の前で衣をかえてしまうという技は、実際見ると本当に圧巻でした。ただ人の死はちょっと見たくないです・・
そのような自分の気持ちも少しだけ感じながらこの映画をみた記憶があります。映画オスカーをとったのは快挙でしょうね。また今回外国人には理解できない日本人の葬式の納棺ものがたりを下馬評からいくとふつうならアカデミー賞にも入らなかった作品かもしれませんが、予定どおりこの映画に出演した女優広末涼子については、すでにオスカー取らせてあのフランス映画ジャンレノと一緒の「ＷＡＳＡＢＩ」でいろいろあったから、相当海外になじもうと変わった役柄を無理して演じた結果苦労したが、今回あえて日本の作品を変わった視点で描いたもので注目を浴びる結果となったわけですからよかったのでしょうね？今回すでにアメリカ・ハリウッドスタッフが待機しているので、海外デビュー作品を広末涼子や予定をしています。また映画「おくりびと」については 海外のひとにはなかなか理解できない日本の文化でしたが、家族と人間の生死に関する事であることと、誰でも人ならば必ず迎える死について、それを日本のちがった世界観や感性として題材にしたものは、アメリカハリウッド的にはあたらしいものだったろうし、日本人だけじゃなく人生をおえたひとに敬意を表して亡くなった方への旅だちにたいして、きれいな服を着せ、体を洗い身奇麗にして旅立たせる文化はあたたかいものであり共感を得たものであったと思いました。人間の心がよくはいっている作品だとおもいます。。また景気が悪いとき海外の作品がでてくるのも
アカデミー賞の特徴でもあります。
また今年の司会者は数日後日本へ映画「オーストラリア」で来日するヒュー・ジャックマンだった。

At that time, it is time when I saw as my father was lost and master's of putting in a coffin technique was as similarly terrible as a kind of art for the first time though I saw this movie in preview room of Shochiku Co., Ltd.. The technique of changing clothes in front of the person who was looking without upsetting the person was really a masterpiece when actually seeing. However, I need not want to see the person's death for a moment ‥.
It has the memory of seeing this movie while feeling my such feelings only a little. It might be a heroic deed that took away movie Oscar. Moreover, Oscar has already been taken away and about actress Hirosue Ryoko who performed to this movie like the schedule because it was "WASABI" the same as that French movie Jean Reno and it existed variously though it might be a work that did not enter Academy Award if usual when it goes from the common talk in telling of putting in a coffin of the Japanese funeral that cannot be understood for the foreigner this time, it might have been good because it became the result of remarkable by what drawn by the aspect into which the work of Japan dared to change this time though had had a hard time as a result of overworking and performing a changeable position if becoming familiar corresponding overseas. Because the United States Hollywood staff has already stood by, the overseas debut work is Hirosue Ryoko and is scheduled.
