マドンナというアーティストはそんなに好きではなかった。
同時期に出てきていたシンディ・ローパーの曲の方が好きで、マドンナについてはあのデビュー曲の印象そのまま、「あまり清潔感のない女性シンガー」みたいなイメージしかなかった。
そんな彼女の曲の中で、1曲だけ、心を奪われた曲がありました。
それが「Crazy For You」
もうずいぶん古い曲になってしまったけれど、いまだに聴くと切なさで胸が締め付けられる思いになる。
crazyという単語が人を愛する切ない感情の表現になるなんて。
なんてステキ。
と思ったものでした。
他の言葉では言い表せない。
誰かに夢中になるということは、なるほどcrazyなのだなと納得しました。
