新海誠監督の”Weathering With You/天気の子”:
The film is much much more splendid than its filmmaker, Makoto Shinkai’s former film “Your Name./君の名は。.”
“Weathering With You” is more simple and straight than “Your Name.” Two young protagonists are very pure on love-seeking like “Romeo and Juliet” (1968). So, I love the film very much.
In this decade only animation films which are equal to this film are Mamoru Hosoda’s “Wolf Children/おおかみこどもの雨と雪” and Hiromasa Yonebayashi’s “When Marnie Was There/思い出のマーニー.”
