あらすじ
毛利小五郎の事務所に、アイドル・沖野ヨーコが訪ねてきた。何者かに後をつけられたり、部屋に侵入されているというのだ。調査のためコナンたちがヨーコの部屋に入ると、そこには男の刺殺死体があった…。コナンは小五郎を気絶させ、阿笠博士が発明した蝶ネクタイ型変声機を使って小五郎の声で事件の謎解きを始める。
Pop idol Yoko Okino visits Kogoro Mouri’s office, claiming that she is being stalked and that someone has broken into her home. When Conan and the others arrive at her apartment to investigate, they find the body of a man stabbed to death. Conan knocks Kogoro unconscious and begins to solve the mystery using his new Voice-Changing Bowtie, speaking in Kogoro's voice.

くそっ、こんな状態じゃ、黒ずくめの男たちを探しだせやしない。
Dammit... in this state, there’s no way I can track down those men in black.
■阿笠博士：
あせるな新一。焦って君の正体が工藤新一だとばれたらどうする？
Don't be impatient, Shinichi. What would happen if you rushed and your true identity as Kudo Shinichi was revealed?

わかってる。俺だけじゃなく周りにいるものも危ないってんだろ。
■阿笠博士：
そうじゃ、蘭君が家に昨日来たぞ。

■阿笠博士：
待て、なぁに、また変な事件に首をつっこんどるんじゃ。心配無用。ひょっこり戻ってくるさ。
Wait, wait! Don't you worry. He's probably just stuck in the middle of another strange case. He'll pop back home before you know it.
■阿笠博士：
とりあえずごまかしたが、どこまで隠し通せることやら。そうだ！捜査の役に立つと思って作ったものがある。これぞ蝶ネクタイ型変声機だじゃ！

裏についてるダイヤルをまわせば、いろいろな声が出せる。老人も子供も男も女もばっちりだ。
If you turn the dial on the back, you can produce all sorts of voices. Old men, children, men, and women—you’ll sound perfect!
■コナン：
あの探偵事務所じゃ使い道がなかったりしてな。
Knowing that detective agency, I might not even get a chance to use it.

■歩美：
あそこがコナン君の家ね。こうなったら意地でもコナン君の友達になるんだから。
That's Conan-kun's house. Well, I'm going to become his friend no matter what!

なんですって？誰かに監視されてる？

■沖野ヨーコ：
家に帰ると家具の位置が変わっていたり、私を隠し撮りした写真が送られてきたり、無言電話なんて毎日…
When I come home, my furniture has been moved. I get photos of myself taken in secret, and there are silent phone calls every single day...
