on the closing day and HOUR,

ギリギリ滑り込みセーフでＭＡMのLEE BUL exhibitionを見てきました

did NOT realize how 怪しいi looked till seeing myself in the reflection of the elevator

oooops

ま～、

日曜の夜１０ＰＭ at MAMは空いていたし whatever苦笑

あまってるチケットを感じよいカップル on the escalatorにofferしたら、

超喜んでくれて、良かった

LEE BUL：　韓国を代表する現代artist, recognized internationally-

shown at MOMA, Lyon Biennale, Fondation Cartier, etc

also exhibited at the recent HONG KONG ART FAIR

mirror flooring creating a dream/utopia effect,

dark rooms with "beyond human" sculptures dramatically hung from the ceiling,

use of the city view to correlate and encompass her dazzling towers of metal-

いろんな展示の仕方で　一人のartistさんがここまでvariety of different piecesをone exhibitionで見せてくれて、

圧倒されました

I didnt have time to experience these "space capsules" but they are to evoke "eternal sleep"

seemed pretty cool and very comfy

一番ユリが時間をすごしたのは、

アトリエ・study-like room with her DRAFTS and DRAWINGS of ideas

彼女のimagination materialization process が少し想像できて、

展示会がますますmeaningfulに感じました

今回のMAM　exhibitionは4 sectionsに分かれていて、

cyborg series, glittering figures and landscapes, industrial designs, organic forms, etc-

SURREAL yet somehow relatable and very tangeable な世界をdepictしていました

VERY MUCH ENJOYED IT

こちらは、

Art Fair HKでもお見かけしました

screening roomに入ると、

all 4 walls にsame scene but different view/videoが流れていて、

不思議なdramatic effect

"the cloud of unknowing" 2011-12

途中で見たからか、ほんとに分からないはずなのか(hence the title)-

わけわからないshort movieでした

unrelated 10 chracters or soが一人ひとりdifferent settingで登場して、

no dialogueのまま、it shows a short scene of their odd life... which seems unrelated but as the viewer- we search for a connection or common ending- but it just gets weirder and weirder around the end...

LOL

anyway-

日曜のお昼は大好きな劇団、”イキウメ”のチケットをパーにしちゃったから、

literally only 30mins in the museumだったけど、

夜は　glad i pushed myself to go
