初めて知りました、YAMADA JUNJIさんのartworks
、
って若干、i was soo bewildered...
作者、山田さん本人がいらっしゃったので、
いろいろお話をきいてると、

通っていたNYCのMETROPOLITAN MUSEUMに展示されてる

いっぱい他の本とか買ってもらったはずなのに、

初めて山田純嗣の作品を見ると、きっとあなたは無意識のうちに「これは絵画なのか? 写真なのか?」を自問するだろう。それは、特徴のある制作過程に因る。石膏などを用い、空想の生物や風景のオブジェをつくる。それを写真に撮り、印画紙に焼く。その印画紙に、凹版で規則的な柄や不定形の傷を刷るのである。刷られたインクは印画紙上に微細に盛り上がり、感光層内に定着されたオブジェの画像から現実味を奪い去る。彼は「視覚の不確かさと、そこに宿る美」を私たちに味あわせようとしているのだ。今展では、彼自身が好きな『囚われの一角獣』『那智滝図』をはじめとした、古い名画や織物に表されている生物や風景に取り組み、さらに手法を複雑化させている。
From the second dimension to the third, from the third to the second…
I bet when you first look at a Junji Yamada work, unconsciously you ask yourself “Is this a picture or a photograph?” The reason is his unique process of creation. He takes materials like plaster and makes fantastical creatures and scenes. After taking a photograph, he burns it in a negative. Making the negative a relief, he carves out methodical patterns and irregular markings. Then by delicately filling the carved out relief with ink, the object’s image becomes fixed in the world of photosensitivity, with all the ‘realness’ sucked out of it. Yamada wants us to taste ‘the uncertainty of sight, and to dwell in the beauty there’. The current exhibition’s inspiration is taken from his beloved ‘Unicorn in Captivity’ tapestry, traditional Japanese drawings of the Nachi Waterfall and the creatures and scenes depicted in other masterpieces, taking his already complicated method one step further.

あまり目立つブースではなかったけど、
ユリには一番印象的なartistでした

Art fair個展：”Innocent world"
展示協力としてYAMAUCHI TAKASHIさんの
立体小作品も数点展示されていて、
むしろこっちが気になっちゃった笑
TEARS are SUSPENDERSLOLLLL
Yamauchiさんとも話すことができて、
なんか面白い方でした～
「永続する魂を形にすることは作り手の永遠のテーマかもしれません。 僕は笑って過ごすことが好きです。 でも作品は泣いている。 笑いの影には涙があります。 悲しみと笑いとを通して永続する魂が何であるのか問うているのです」

カタログも立派で、見やすくて、

ブースはかなり目立っていて、
なんかエナジーもありました

そして最後に、
superfriendly MORI YUさんのギャラリースペースで気なった、
）が特に気になって、
MORIさんはmy sisterのacquaintanceで、
いろいろ丁寧にアーティストのことを教えてくださって、
びっくり！このTAKAHOさんは
ラルクアンシエルのHYDEさんのTATTOOをほったり、
DRESSCAMPともコラボしてたり、
幅広く活動なされてるcool artist～
、ちなみに"Unicorn in Captivity" and "アゲピヨ”は確か２０－３０万yenと、
