some thoughts on TAKING RISKS...(teheehee)
FINALLY over the years, I have gradually come to understand this concept and try to act in accordance to it (atleas TRY to) It's hard especially as we grow older because we start to think more realistically and often this limits our imagination/dreams. It feels as though there is more at stake since we fear being hurt or rejected cuz it hits us harder compared to when we were "younger" (can't easily "BOUNCEBACK", so to say)... But as they say:
"
(人間は、行動した後
In particular, I found myself rereading the second-half of this quote. It's true: The greatest RISK is to have RISKED NOTHING... because you will get no experience, knowledge, growth out of doing that..and ultimately- you'll start feeling resentment towards things, people, yourself when you find yourslef feeling empty/lost/regretful.
It's important to be humble and modest in any situation of life, and IT IS a RISK appearing conceited, arrogant, or selfcentered when you don't be careful and become too aggressive or paranoid, but it is just OH SO CRUCIAL to also be assertive, CONFIDENT, and FAITHFUL when you really believe in something strongly: ideas, morals, beliefs, loves, dreams
