クリスマスパーティー Christmas Party!

先日、クリスマスパーティーが行われました。

みなさんドレスアップして、豪華豚の丸焼きを

食べ、ダンスしたり、ゲームしたり、

プレゼントを配ったりして、盛大なパーティーでした。

So cute!!

フィリピンでのクリスマスは、一年の中で一番の

イベントです。

２４日、２５日は祝日で、通常、家族とお祝いします。

日本のお正月のような感じです。

他国に出稼ぎに行っている人は２４、２５に

帰ることが出来るとは限らないので、

１１月～１月初旬までの間がクリスマス期間

となります。

家族を大切にする文化の現れかと思います。

また、お祭り好きの現れかもしません。

いい文化ですね。

The Christmas party of our company

 took place on last weekend.

That was a big party!

Everybody dressed up, ate lechon, danced and presents were given away.

Christmas is the biggest holiday in Philippines.

They usually celebrate the Christmas with their family on 24th and 25 December.

It's like a New year Celebration in Japan.

People working abroad are not always come back their home on 24th and 25th Dec.

therefore it's a long Christmas term, from the end of November to January in Philippines.

I think it's a culture they value spending time with their family, or It's because they like the festival…
