Q:How would you interoperate this in your business?
A:Harsh environment or difficulties would allow us to struggle with our Karmas.By the way, I have no children. I took therapy sometime before, but it did notwork and my husband and I decided not to pursue the result. Recently, I havebeen pondering the fact and its implications, “How come I have nochildren.”
Onthe other hand, looking at my work and responsibilities, we have been involvedin significantly important development project in Japan. Until now, there havebeen several critical issues. Once the issue has been solved, another one hasappeared. I have experienced several moments when I doubt this project nolonger works, isn’t this project going to stop as it is?
Q:How have you overcome such obstacles?
A:Fortunately, I have had a good business partner for this project. Every crisis,we have discussed this project over and over again. He has suggested from differentangles/ solutions for every single issue that we have encountered. I have limitedknowledge and experience. I haven’t been good at anticipating future and makinga quick decision. However, this partner has followed up properly to keep theproject running smoothly. And this person has taken the lead and is leadingeach and every one of the difficulties.
Q:So you have got a good mentor to deal with tough tasks, haven’t you?
A:Yes, interestingly, I have started thinking like that. What I am doing now is feeling“the pain of giving birth.”
Physically,I could not have a child who has our DNA. But I am now involved in“creating” projects that are very important for the next generation. Isn’tit exactly my life’s role to give birth of innovative creature to the nextgenerations?
Thanksto our partner who is struggling with the challenges of this project, I havebeen involved in such a wonderful work, indeed. I really appreciate him. I canexperience the pain for giving birth. In other words, this can be taken as myKarma to be solved in my life.
Q:Is there another example that you find the Karma?
A:Yes, there is. The other day, I met a Japanese real estate investment adviser. His nick name is Rocky. Rocky Wildmoor, sounds like Rocky Balboa, as he has agood fighting spirit. Rocky is 100% Japanese, though.
Rockyhas been involved in developing a crowd funding business. Rocky said theregulations towards the business that the authority has required have been verydemanding and strict. They are so demanding and to comply with all therequirements, our business model may end up costly, making it difficult to leaveprofits in this business.
Q:So, under such difficulties, why has Rocky been so keen on developing that crowdfunding business?
A:Rocky responded to me, “After all, I want to do something to contribute to thegrowth of our society. We really want to do business that not only benefit usbut does the other Japanese people. I trust this scheme allows people to feelreal estate investment convenient and attractive. In a nutshell, we really wantto democratize real estate investment.
Q:What do you think about Rocky’s vision? Do you think he is ambitious?
A:In particular, I think the business that Rocky is about to launch would bring agreat influence on the future wealth creation for Japanese people. I thinkRocky has also been suffering from a pain of giving birth. To develop his ideato the actual business platform, I think Rocky and his team will have toovercome a lot of difficulties. But I think Rocky and I, are supposed to havesome mission to be completed in this world, let’s say them as Karma. Throughthose missions, while feeling pains of giving birth to the world, we have beenlearning something very important to enrich our lives.
Ithink Rocky has overcome a lot of difficulties so far. Therefore, sooner orlater, despite of any obstacles imposed by the authority, he would be able toachieve his goals. That’s for sure encouraging me to face with my own pain togive birth.
