The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Goa boasts spacious and tidy rooms. We stayed in a lagoon room with a decent view that added a pleasant touch to our experience. However, the bed was somewhat uncomfortable, leaving me with lingering back pain.
Regarding dining, the food prices were steep, as anticipated in a 5-star establishment, yet the taste and quality didn't match the elevated standards expected. The complimentary breakfast was good, but compared to similar hotels, the variety seemed somewhat limited.
During our stay around Christmas time, the breakfast rush led to waiting for a table, which is understandable. Regrettably, there was a lack of organization, with some guests bypassing the wait while others, who had been waiting longer, were overlooked.
The in-room service was passable. Housekeeping was inconsistent, as they missed our room for two consecutive days, even with the indication for service turned on. Furthermore, basic amenities like in-room slippers were absent, although promptly provided upon request.
Parking arrangements were disappointing. Guests were directed to a dusty field behind the hotel for parking, necessitating a walk back to the lobby. The disparity in parking, reserving better spots for hotel cabs while guests were left in a dusty area, led to unnecessary inconvenience and soiled footwear.
In summary, these aspects might be acceptable in a lower-tier 5-star or 4-star hotel, but considering experiences at other accommodations like Fairfield by Marriott or The Fern, I expected a more refined and organized experience from Doubletree by Hilton Goa.

The warm welcome with a delicious cookie set the tone for the entire visit. The hotel's strategic location provided easy access to multiple beaches, offering a perfect blend of serenity and vibrant coastal life. The rooms were spacious and maintained to high standards. Overall, DoubleTree by Hilton in Arpora, Goa, exceeded expectations, providing a memorable stay with its excellent service and proximity to the beautiful beaches. Highly recommended!
