No way, Jose

アメリカからの帰国子女の友達と話していたら、彼が"No way, Jose."って言ったんです。

"No way"は知ってたけど、その表現は聞いたことなくて。

なので「どういう意味？」って聞いてみました。

When I was talking with a friend who used to live in U.S.A., he said "No way, Jose".

I knew "No way", but I hadn't heard the expression.

So I asked him. "What does it mean?"

「No wayと同じ意味」って教えてくれました。

Jose に意味はなくて、韻を踏んでるだけらしいです。

He taught me it's just the same as "No way".

"Jose" has no meaning. "It's just a rhyme." he said.

面白い！

こういう表現、使えるようになりたいな～。
