I took these pictures when I went out last Friday
with my high school buddy, A,
and friends from UBC, F and AC.
We first went to a Japanese restaurant named
Miko Sushi on Robson Street.
A close-up of what we ordered there
I
everything that I tried.
everything that I tried.
Nevertheless,
my favorite of the day was Amaebi.

We also ordered assorted tempura.
I tried the prawn and fell in love with it!
It was very tender and juicy.
Well...
After "consuming" everything that we ordered
at Miko Sushi, we left for what we called
"the second round."
Somehow...
All of us felt like having Yakiniku,
so we went for Korean BBQ.
The waitress gave us six different types of side dishes -
kimchi, lettuce with hot sauce dressing,
seasoned potato, cabbage, bean sprouts, and seaweed.
Personally, I liked lettuce with hot sauce dressing,
seasoned cabbage, and seasoned seaweed the best.

The steamed dumplings were pretty good as well.
Can you see the glass beside
the Chinese wooden steamer?
What do you think was inside the glass?

Go ahead...
Take a guess!
Well...It was beer.

We ordered and shared a pitcher of beer.
Luckily, no one got drunk afterwards.
Well...
You see...
F and AC already shared a bottle of beer
at the Japanese restaurant.
As for A and I, both of us already had some umeshu
prior to "the second round."
Um...
We certainly had much alcohol that day.
