Yesterday, there was a Jizo Bon festival near the company on the shopping street. Our company participated in the festival. I'd like to share a bit about the Jizo Bon festival:
Around August 23rd, the Jizo statue is cleaned and adorned with makeup. Offerings are made, the Jizo statue is decorated with lanterns, and sweets are distributed to children who come to pray with incense.
Also, yesterday, there was the final game of the All-Japan High School Baseball Championship at Koshien Stadium. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the stadium. The final match was between Kyoto International and Kanto Daiichi.
As a result, Kyoto International won 2-1. The game was very close, going into overtime with a tie-breaker. It was an amazing and impressive game. Kyoto International's high school song, which is in Korean, was sung, and their flag was raised on the back screen. It was truly something special.

おはようございます。お元気ですか？私は元気です。今日は8月24日土曜日で、仕事の日です。天気は晴れ時々曇りで、気温は26度です。予報では晴れ時々曇りで、最高気温は32度になるそうです。
昨日、会社の近くの商店街で地蔵盆祭りがありました。私たちの会社も地蔵盆に参加しました。地蔵盆について少しご紹介します。
8月23日頃になると、地蔵像が清められ、化粧が施されます。お供え物がされ、地蔵像は提灯で飾られ、線香を手向けに来た子供たちにお菓子が配られます。
また、昨日は甲子園球場で全国高校野球の決勝戦が行われました。今年は甲子園球場が建設されてから100年目の年です。決勝戦は京都国際と関東第一の対戦でした。
結果は、京都国際が2-1で勝利しました。試合は接戦で、延長戦のタイブレークまでもつれ込みました。本当に素晴らしい、感動的な試合でした。京都国際の校歌は韓国語で歌われ、彼らの旗がバックスクリーンに掲げられました。それはとても感動的な光景でした。
