【あとがき】
ディズニープリンセスシリーズ第2弾。
和訳部分をアリエル色にしようと思いましたが失敗したのでこの色にしました
さて、この作品は曲が素晴らしいですよね。歌い初めにセリフがあったので、そちらも訳しました。本編を翻訳していて、日本語版の歌詞がチラついて、逆にやりづらかったのですが、特に難しい箇所もありませんでした。
しかし"thing-a-mabob"だけ普通の辞書には載ってないので、ネットで"urban dictionary"を見てみてください。"mabob"で「名前が思い出せない物」という意味でヒットします。
それから訳語として、"they"や"people"は「陸の人たち」と統一。また"shore"や"on the sand"は「陸の上」と訳語を統一したほうが日本語の読み物としてスッキリすると思います。英語はその都度変化をしていくのが当たり前なので。
