Sam has called Louis to come and talk with Vicky in secret.
When Louis arrives, Sam is playing basketball while Vicky is still looking Sam’s sketch book.
Vicky notices Louis’s coming and sits by him, saying, “do you know why I love basketball so much though I cannot even shoot? ” she stops for a second and says again, “ because of you guys. I know that you are crazy about basketball and NBA. I wanna get closer to you. Louis, without us, I bet you must be playing for a professional team.”
Louis pulls her ponytail and says, “ not really. Basketball can only be my hobby, but not my career. This is my faith. Maybe you consider me as an excellent basketball player, but the fact is I am just so so. Vicky, you are not me. Please don’t think too much. In many cases, the more you think, the more confused you will feel. Things are not so complicated as you think. Do you think that you may disturb me if you call me? ”
Vicky looks into his eyes, and says, “ain’t I disturbing you at that time? ” Louis shakes his head, saying, “of course not. On the contrary, I was afraid that I disturbed you at that time. You know, you are always such a good student, always busy with your study, your homework, your reviews. I have never thought that you would be willing to help me with my poor poor English. ”
Vicky interrupts him, “no, I have never thought about that. I am always willing to give my hands as long as you need it. As for you English, well your progress would make me much happier than my progress did.”
Louis smiles, saying, “that is it. You are so nice to everybody. You always want to take good care of everybody around you. But I just wanna take good care of you. You always move around others, but I just wanna move around you. For others, you are just an ordinary person, but for me, you are my whole world. Can I be your hero and protect you? ”
Vicky smiles sweetly and says, ”well if you say that song for me……. ”
Louis understands and sings, “but i know someday you will by my side cause I know God is just waiting till the time is right. God will you keep her safe from the thunderstorm? When the day is cold will you keep her warm….(My Prayer sung by Devotion. )”
Vicky holds his hand and smiles happily.
Today is the new beginning for them. Though the story has come to an end, life is still continuing. Life is never so easy, but please cherish what you have now and live for the moment.
