Here I leave out  in the open, a very happy birthday for an once very good friend of mine that I wasn't able to contact anymore after terrible things happened.

I wonder how you're doing? I wonder if you're still drawing? It's been five years now. I really miss talking to you at times. You probably don't remember how we used to draw late into the night, and how you'd always take pictures and show me your baggy eyes.

...Euphy. That's the name you went by at the time. You always taught me new things, I always thought you were amazing. I was so little when I met you nearly ten years ago!

Maybe you don't remember me at all, we were just internet friends.

But you've unknowingly helped me through so many hard times that I never actually forgot you.
Every year I remember your birthday and whisper a happy birthday to the wind hoping you'd be able to hear it or at least feel a warm little something, aaaall the way out there in Japan, even though I literally live at the other side of the world.

I wish I could give something to you.

I remember you used to love onigiri.
I think that's what i'm going to eat tonight. Just some kind of symbolic memory of an old friendship.

I wonder if you'll read this.

Regardless, today I'm whispering to the wind again.

”お誕生日おめでとう”
