My friends and I made a coffee-cheesecake tart for one of the school friends KIE's 24th birthday. We- Kie, Yuko, Nana, Asami, Eri, and I - have entered the ESL on the same day.
We had a good cooking teacher. He was a "japanese oba-chan" on halloween night.
I went to a halloween workshop at an elementary school as a volunteer, and I met him who made popcorn.
I heard that he often makes delisious cakes and he was kind enough to help us. Thanks a lot!

Making sweets was so fun for me. There were my favorite things-girly chat with good friends, sweet smell, a nice cup of tea and smiles. I really enjoyed myself.
After taking the cake out of the oven, we started to decorate the cake with icing.
Actually, we planed to write on the tart "We're so lucky to have a friend like you!", but the icing pencils were more uncontrollable than we imagined. So we write big "LOVE" instead of "We're so lucky to have a friend like you!". In my opinion, they were totally same meaning...:)
Then we wrote a message card for KIE. We're celebrating her at lunch tomorrow. I'll be glad if she is pleased with our surprise cake. I cannot wait for tomorrow!
