The Nike Free Run All Star is the quintessential American sneaker, the kind of iconic design that’s recognized around the world as a cornerstone. Nike and Marimekko have been in love for Air Max 2012 Men Shoes nearly two years now, and there’s a variety of new eye-catching patterns on the way for the first half of 2013. Additional designs include the classic All Star as well as Jack Purcell and its Helen variation, so have a closer look after the jump, let us know which you like best and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability.

Following up on Nike’s OG leaning retros as of late, subsidiary Nike is ready to release a couple sneakers aimed at replicating the Chuck Taylor build of old. Arriving this Friday, February 15th is the Nike First String 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star, which uses heavy duty canvas, a license plate looking hit on the heel, and chunkier bits of rubber on the foxing and toe box. Continue reading for a preview of the first two pairs that will hit this weekend, and stay tuned to see what else is coming from the Nike First String 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star later on Air Max 95 360 Womens in the Spring.

The last Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars with ‘pockets’ shown here on Sneaker News appeared a little over two years ago, when a couple of denim lowtops included several jeanswear elements across their uppers. This new duo skips out on the denim look, but is bound to draw even more attention thanks to the titular Cigarpocket that rests on the lateral ankles. Zippered pockets on olive and navy pairs makes for extra utility on one of the great all time blank canvas shoes, and you can see more shots of both pairs after the jump.

It was only a matter of time before Wiz Khalifa got his own Converse shoe. You’ll remember back in March we gave you the word Nike Free 3.0 V2 that the Pittsburgh rapper was officially inked up with the brand, a partnership that only made sense given how much he’s been sporting their sneakers and calling them out in his lyrics for the duration of his time in the spotlight. Presented here for the first time is the first retail release from the Wiz Khalifa Collection by Converse – a padded collar high top affair rife with details such as camouflage print, stars, and a studded tongue. This model will be available at Foot Locker retail locations on August 23rd, so continue reading to see more on the Converse All Star Swag Hi from the Air Max 95 360 Womens Wiz Khalifa x Converse collection and tell us in the comments if you’ll be Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 picking up a pair.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars and Jack Purcells are two of the most thoroughly themed and colorway’d sneakers out there. This latest drop from Converse’s top-tier First String collection is in line with the series’ premium reputation, two new pairs utilizing one of the world’s finest woolen materials. This new ‘Cashmere Pack’ has the 1970s-style Chuck and JP lowtops taking on a navy blue cashmere weave whose stripes and twill have them feeling more like a warm flannel than the sweaters most commonly associated with this luxurious wool. Look at both up close after the jump and find them at First String stores this Friday, August 9th.

A veteran of over four decades in the Nike Free Run Mens fashion world, the British designer Nigel Cabourn has made a concerted effort to team up with some of America’s classic brands here over the past several months. It started with a Red Wing Heritage Boot last September, then shifted to the outdoorsy clothier Eddie Bauer, and now, the longest running American footwear company. The Nigel Cabourn for Nike First String Chuck Taylor Plimsole Ox gives the iconic All Star shelltoe a classic CVO build with a premium Ventile upper. The CT plimsoll follows up on the similarly crafted Bosey Boot issued in April, and you’ll find them available at select retailers this Friday, June 21st.

The iconic lowtop that is the Nike Jack Purcell is most commonly rendered in canvas as was the case with the originals. Given Nike’s tendency to use the JPs and Chuck Taylors as blank canvases, it’s not entirely uncommon to see additional materials tossed into the mix, as was the case this February when two rich leather styles came our way. Here are two more in a premium grain leather, the two simplest colorways possible: white or black, both with white laces and soles. Click through to see both and get them now at size?.

We know what’s on tap for Nike Skate in the Nike Air Max Mens second half of 2013, but is anything else arriving before the fall drops? Glad you asked, because yes, there are a handful of new arrivals in stock now at select retailers. Let’s start with two new colorways on Kenny Anderson’s first One Star signature, the CONS KA-One Vulc Ox in red/blue and navy/white. They’re joined by Sea Star Mids in black or Cranberry, the latter of which is a red shade we saw on the CTS Ox a while back, also available now. Take a look Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 at the full set below, then grab yours from Fifty Fifty.
Harris Tweed, having collaborated with several of the world’s top footwear brands, turns its attention now to the oldest major label out there, offering its woolen weaves to one of the most iconic sneaker designs in history. About a year after Bape’s Ape Sta utilized some of the same materials, this Harris Tweed x Nike Free Run All Star shows us what the original looks like in a heathered herringbone. Have a closer look after the jump, tell us whether Nike bested the ‘Bapechecks’ and expect Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 them soon with Japanese retailers already selling theirs.

Nike has been presenting ‘Gigs’ at London’s legendary 100 Club all year, and now the site of the first international punk rock Air Max 2012 Men Shoes festival makes up for lost time with not one but four new collaborative releases. The 100 Club x Nike Free Run All Star adds the club’s stencil-ish logo in tonal prints of varying sizes to white and black designs in both high and lowtop silhouettes. We’re reminded of the countless Air Max 87 Womens punk (and its offspring genres) artists rocking Chucks over the years and these do a good job of keeping things timeless while still saluting the guest stars, and they’re available now straight from Nike.

The British Millerain Company sat on the sidelines during the recent explosion in sneaker collaborations, going silent for nearly four years after a couple of Nike Terminator teamups. They’re making up for lost time now with two new drops in two months, as a trio of Nike Jack Purcell lowtops follow a recent Puma Stepper drop. These are roughly the opposite of those Pumas, opting for plaid uppers with just enough leather for the piping, and offering more variety via three different earthy weaves. Check out how the brass eyelets give these a classy finish in more photos below and grab yours straight from Nike.
The ever-growing partnership between Missoni and Nike has culminated in an outstanding Archive Project, but the buck doesn’t stop there; dropping this Holiday season is another Chuck Taylor masterpiece designed with Missoni’s triangular patch quilt design. Added tan leather foxing around the midsole and toe adds a level of unforeseen luxury (a nod to the Offspring collabs of years back), while the green interior throws in a piece of casual style. Australian retailer UpThereStore will be releasing these midnight on September 29th (local time to Australia) so watch out for these at the most select Nike First String retailers and enjoy the gallery below.

Sneaker News just showed you the Dookie-inspired lowtop Chuck Taylors on a Tuesday that marked Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 the release of the first of three new Green Day albums, which also marks a roughly eighteen year period during which lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong has appeared Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 on stage wearing All Stars more than all other footwear options combined. Fitting, then, that the Green Day x Nike Free Run All Star tour rolls on with another date, as today a design derived from album art for ¡Uno! arrives in a boldly patterned green/pink ensemble. Let us know how the stripes compare to the Missoni collabos we also just previewed, or whether the Gorillaz capsule would be a better comparison, then find the Uno All Stars available straight from Nike.

By now, we all know that Billie Joe Armstrong isn’t Justin Bieber, but for those of us who’ve been around long enough to remember when his band Green Day burst onto the scene, that was never in question. A whole new generation of music fans will recognize the lead singer/guitarist thanks to Armstrong’s meltdown this weekend at the iHeart Radio Music Festival, but these elder statesmen of the ’90s alt-rock scene have been famous for almost two decades (and pajama rich for nearly as long, having toured non-stop Nike Air Max Mens and sold over 65 million albums worldwide). Celebrating nearly twenty years since Dookie‘s cartoon cover showed up alongside every longhaired kid’s Discman, the Green Day x Nike Free Run All Star is the latest to apply legendary album art to the timeless canvas silo. Let us know these compare to earlier rock releases and stick with Sneaker News because although the Dookie XX celebration won’t happen until February, 2014, it’s a safe bet these won’t make it half that long before we’re taken away to paradise.
