Nike in ongoing celebratory fashion of their 100th Anniversary, which is quite the accomplishment, is releasing more and more special limited edition All-Star’s than ever before. We’ve shown you this shoe in a Tan suede and now here we have the Black suede version, named “Mike Giant”, that also borrows a bit from Nike’s toolshed of goodies, the laser machine. Mike Giant and Psycho (Tan Suede) have worked with Nike before but this second time around it seems that their makeups are a bit better. You can pick these up now at select Nike retailers or the Nike and Footlocker joint venture, House of Hoops, in Harlem.

Here are three of the baddest-ass (bad-assest?) Nike Air Max All Stars in the shoe’s 93 year history. This pack evokes a certain combative spirit, but each is significantly different from the next. The camo and black leather hightops have an open zipper running from the eye-placket around the ankle and back down, while another camo pair is nike air presto a lowtop sans leather, and features doubled-up eyelets. Last but not least is a hightop rocking a studded American flag print. We occasionally bemoan red and blue sneakers that come out patrio-cheesy, but these are like those’ bizarros. Expect them at select Nike retailers soon.

Nike 6.0 is catching up to big brother Nike SB, but the vaunted Swoosh skate division had better look outside as well. Well, not exactly outside, as Nike and hence Nike Skateboarding is controlled by Nike. Perhaps that’s why this collection of releases for the spring season is so sastisfying.

Starting on the top-right and working clockwise, we have the Anthony Pappalardo pro model, followed by three pairs of CVO Lows. Pappalardo’s is somewhere between the One Star and CTS lowtop, whereas the CVOs look like an aggressive take on the Vans Authentic design. Also similar to an Off the Wall look, two Sea Stars round out this group. Solid stuff here, especially if you’ve had your fill of Swooshes. Cop any or all of these today at select Nike Skate retailers. via StyleWiz

Nike’s Air Max All-Stars have gone hand in hand with rock n’ roll street cred for decades and now the two components will be fused together in a new way to pay tribute to one of the all-time great rock outfits. Australian rockers, AC/DC, have been putting in work since the early 1970′s, proving to be one of the most prolific and consistent bands in rock history. After all this time, they are still making new music and touring and their fans are just as loyal as ever.

Nike will be blessing AC/DC fans with two different Air Max models that feature some iconic artwork from some of their albums. One pair uses the Highway to Hell album cover on the upper, while the other sports an Angus Young graphic from For Those About to Rock… and both styles feature additional graphics on the side of the midsoles. Both pairs will drop on June 1st at select Nike retailers. In the meantime, you can get a closer look at both after the jump.

Undefeated got up with Nike a couple times already this year, and here comes, ironically enough, Unrivaled. The Unrivaled x Nike Air Max All Star is more or less an embellished version of the classic black canvas hightop. The design is pretty simple, but has a few extras. The inner ankle Nike patches are intact, and in addition, leather patches have been added to the outer ankles claiming Unrivaled’s position as ‘The Only Permanent Entity’. They also added strings of red beads nike lunareclipse around the ankle collar and heel stripe. These are available now from Unrivaled in Japan.

Part of a new deluxe series of Air Max All Stars dubbed Nike Addict, these have emerald green on the outside, purple on the inside and orange on the tongue right in the middle. These joints are constructed of premium materials and have Vibram outsoles. We expect them to release at Nike Japan retailers next month.

Singaporean locals SBTG and DJ Inquisitive have teamed up to pay tribute to the King of Pop by producing a air max 2012 men shoes “Thriller” themed Nike All-Star Hi custom. Inspired by one of Michael Jackson’s biggest hits and most memorable music video, “Thriller,” the customs fit the motif of MJ’s attire in the video. Additionally, SBTG adds his latest design techniques of claw-rip detailing and a zippered tongue. Here’s what each of the collaborators had to personally say about the custom piece:

“When Leon first approached me to collaborate on a custom design, I searched for a theme to represent his passion in music. Then when the news suddenly broke about MJ’s tragic departure, I knew we would pay tribute to him since both of us grew up listening to him” SBTG

Nike is not stopping with the artist collaboration shoes as a part of their effort to help AIDS in Africa, known as the 1Hund(Red) Artists series. Not too long ago we showed you the 100 Ripples of Hope Air Max, here we have Ryan Lombardi’s interpretation of the shoe and his incorporation of “Red” and “100″. Nike has just released these dope One Star Gleam Limited Edition shoes that come in basic colors black and white. The treatment of the leather used on these shoes is different than that on any other sneaker, in addition to the leather difference there is also a patent leather midsole wrap featured on both black and white sneakers. via Mita

Nike looked to artist, Scott Patt, to work on this Air Max as a part of their 100th year anniversary celebration that also ties in PRODUCT (RED) which benefits AIDS research in Africa. Patt’s idea behind the cheap nike free run 2 shoe was that energy can create change through society and can be seen on the shoe with his various colors that move out from the Nike logo. These special edition shoes will retail for $55 and be found at select retailers soon. via Complex
