With sneaker brands taking cues from streetwear labels and going for a more ‘mature’ look in recent years, we’ve seen a number of woolen and peacoat-inspired sneakers. The navy-inspired look has found its fair share of adopters, and now Nike looks to branch out a bit further with their latest Chuck Taylor colorup. The Nike All Star ‘Duffle Coat’ does just what its name would suggest, but even then, you might not expect the walrus teeth to be nike free 3.0 v3 shoes this big. They’re of the size you’d see on an actual duffle coat, which means they’re pretty well oversized for a sneaker, and this contrast of sophistication and ostentatious design makes for one of the more interesting winterized kicks this season. We have more pictures after the jump and expect these two pairs to hit US One Star retailers soon; they just arrived at Japan’s FLAUGE.

In this year that featured a million shades of grey and one huge Cool Grey Christmas release, Nike has again gotten up with LA-based streetwear shoes stores label UNDFTD to put a steely twist on another collaboration. The Undefeated x Nike Poorman Weapon is a nylon flight jacket-inspired look we’ve seen from these two three times before, and just like each of those, these joints will actually release alongside an MA1 flight jacket. The jacket zips up and the shoes lace up, but velcro plays an important role too, as each of the side panel and tongue tag logos can be removed for a ‘stealth bomber’ look. Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at UNDFTD chapter stores on Black Friday. via Shoes-Up
