At the Coachella music festival, it's

As temperatures in the Californian
valley settled around 98 degrees, the layers came off as fans danced and
tried to stay cool at the same time.
Gone were the thoughtful outfits of
previous shows. As the show reached a climax on Sunday, it seemed that
as along as you wore your wristband, it was anything goes.
But when things were starting to get a
little too hot, there was always the girls with the sprinklers to give
the boys a soaking.

The line-up of acts for the festival

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (its full title) is held at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio.
The three-day festival began in 1999, but accommodation, in the form of open-site camping, wasn't available until 2002. Since 2003 it has consistently attracted some of the biggest names in rock, pop and indie music.
