The Answer is.... NOTHING !!
I particularly say Producer&DJ people like Avicci Aoki, or Skrillex etc...
And I'm particularly saying when they are on stage.
I mean, you don't have to do anything up there as you can manipulate every single detail on DAW (music software.)
And what they are doing on stage is just twirking.
They are musiciaians or composers not exactly DJs.
I ain't ever wanna be a DJ cz its too boring just to let the music play and standing there and all you can do is to scratch or hit the pads to make some noise.
I , MYSELF , can create the sound and play instruments and give the sound life which becomes Music.
A DJ is to adopt music and let it play
A Musician or composer is to give birth to the sound and make them grow into music .
I respect DJs & Producers as composers.
But They are not DJs.
And I always wonder how can they not get bored just put their hands in the air and jumping and let the music play without singing and dancing and play instruments....
The pinnacle of DJ ing is to hit the pads and make melodies. .....so...why don't you play piano then?
Ok you can scratch real nice on time no gap and...what about the rest of the 1.47 hour ?
You don't wanna scratch for entire 1.5 hour show?
You can still earn the same amount of money as well as singers but I'm just bored and can't stand it standing up behind the table all the time.
I may use DAW as my Orchestra , and DJ controller as my conductor table.
Then I sing and dance perfectly cz my music always plays perfect.
No bull shit during the show.
No band members will forget the beats or bang or fill in where i want .
Everything is ME.
Wow... What a wonderful world...
My audience will only experience ME.
All the Mother fucking sounds and dancing and voices and chorus will be ME !
I think DAW is a new century's Orchestra or solo piano.
I will be a conductor and composer with DAW.
The person who graduate from classical music college or are classically educated only can have or understand this idea.
People will call me The Maestro Of Pop!!
