With the launch of Nokia Lumia 830, an era definitely has come to an end. The phone is the last handset to carry the famous 'Nokia' branding as Microsoft completes its acquisition of the Finnish firm's mobility division.
Microsoft has been claiming that the Nokia Lumia 830 is an 'affordable flagship'. The comparison with Nokia Lumia 930 is unavoidable as Lumia 830 does appear to be a somewhat toned down version of its elder sibling.
Some of the best and newest phones look good, with some coming in an aluminum finish, while others are encased in a matte or shiny black or white coat. However, those who are looking for phones with more pizzazz may want to check out any of these two phones—the iPhone 5C and Nokia Lumia 520, which come in fun colors and are sure to attract attention anywhere.
Here, we pit the two smartphones against each other as we take a look at their design and what lies under their candy-colored exteriors:
Design:
The iPhone 5C measures 4.90 x 2.33 x 0.35 inches and weighs 4.66 ounces, which is a bit heavier than the Nokia Lumia 520 which weighs 4.37 ounces and measures 4.72 x 2.52 x 0.39 inches. Placing the phones side by side, one can see that the iPhone is taller and thinner than the Lumia, but the Nokia phone sports an edgier design thanks to its sharper corners.
Features:
Though both phones have a 4-inch screen, the iPhone 5C's display has a higher resolution at 640 x 1136 pixels, whereas the Lumia 520's screen only has 400 x 800 pixels.
When it comes to the display, the Lumia 730 wins with its 4.7-inch OLED screen made of Gorilla Corning Glass 3 and has a resolution of 720 x 1280, compared to the Galaxy Grand Prime which has a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels with 220ppi. The Lumia having a layer of Corning Glass makes it more durable than the Grand Prime. You may interested on: samsung galaxy S5 cases and samsung galaxy note 3 cases
